It was really nice to catch up with many of you (+ 30 participants) during our annual kickoff event of the year – the IBC Ski Weekend 2025 (Klosters, Switzerland) – held during the last weekend of January 2025.
We have now settled well into the year 2025, to what promises to be an interesting year for the IBC. This a short update to share with you insights from our first IBC board meeting of the year, held on 17 February, where we set out our key objectives and IBC Events 2025 schedule.
IBC Events 2025/2026 – Save The Dates!
You can already mark your agendas with the IBC events and leading keynote speakers secured to date, those being planned from the month of April with the following IBC get-togethers from 2025 to 2026.

- Wednesday 23 April 2025 – IBC Spring Luncheon– Keynote Speaker: Tom Théobald, CEO, Luxembourg For Finance – secured and confirmed
- June/July 2025 – Summer-Luncheon– Keynote Speaker – being planneed
- Summer 2025 – IBC Discovery Day(replacing the yearly IBC Family Day) – being planned
- Wednesday, 1 October 2025 – IBC Fall Luncheon2025 – Keynote Speaker: Laurent Mosar, Member of Parliament, Alderman City of Luxembourg – secured and confirmed
- September/October – IBC Golf Day 2025 – Luxembourg – being planned
- October/November 2025 – Kick off IBC Ski Weekend 2026 – being planned
- December 2025 – IBC pre-xmas Luncheon– Keynote Speaker: to be secured 2Q2024

IBC Communication Platform – is in your reach – please use it!
We upgraded our IT server and service provider in 2024. We continue to update – the IBC website and IBC LinkedIn Group, the dedicated IBC members’ communication platform – with latest IBC news, history of events and upcoming events for the year, where you can already let us know of your interest to join via the link to each of the events listed.
Your active involvement is what makes the IBC thrive after 53 years as a distinct community in the Luxembourg financial sector landscape. We thank you for your ongoing commitment to the IBC.
